Designed and developed a responsive landing page for bioRSVP, a biotech event discovery platform helping users navigate satellite events, receptions, and networking opportunities around major industry conferences.
Overview
A central hub for biotech event discovery
bioRSVP is an event discovery app focused on helping attendees find and navigate satellite events around major conferences such as JPM Healthcare, BIO International, and Jefferies London Healthcare. I was brought on by Novateur Ventures to design and develop a fast, modern one-page marketing website that introduced the platform, communicated its value clearly, and encouraged event submissions and app downloads.
Challenge
Designing under evolving direction and tight timelines
The project moved on a tight timeline with evolving requirements and shifting creative direction throughout the process. The site needed to balance startup-style speed with a polished, trustworthy visual presence, while also communicating a fairly information-dense product in a simple and accessible way. Another challenge was designing UI imagery for an app experience that was still actively evolving.
Approach
Building a flexible and scalable marketing experience
I approached the project by focusing on clarity, responsiveness, and scalable structure. The site was built in Next.js with a component-based architecture to keep the codebase maintainable and flexible for future updates. Visually, I explored lightweight UI-inspired graphics and map-based event discovery concepts to reinforce the platform’s purpose without relying on finalized app screens, also utilizing the brands imagery and visual style. Throughout the process, I worked closely with the client to refine hierarchy, messaging, and interactions.
Solution
Translating complex event data into a clear visual system
The final result was a clean, modern landing page that combines strong typography, simplified event-inspired branding elements, and a custom-built mobile app preview graphic showcasing event discovery and navigation. The site includes sections for platform features, conference coverage, event submissions, sponsorship opportunities, and clear download calls-to-action, all optimized for responsiveness and fast deployment.
Results
Launching a foundation for future platform growth
The website was successfully launched on a custom domain and provided the bioRSVP team with a professional marketing presence ahead of upcoming conference cycles. The project established a flexible foundation for future growth while helping communicate the platform’s expanding role beyond a single event ecosystem into a broader biotech networking and discovery tool.
